The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Joint Program in Oceanography/Applied Ocean Science and Engineering is a five-year doctoral degree program. The combined strengths of MIT and WHOI provide research and educational opportunities in science and engineering disciplines that contribute to ocean science.

Heather recruits Ph.D. students in the area of Chemical Oceanography through MIT-WHOI Joint Program.

Heather teaches 12.747 Modeling, Data Analysis & Numerical Techniques for Geochemistry (with Dr. David Nicholson, WHOI Marine Chemistry & Geochemistry). Contact Heather (hkimwhoi@mit.edu) for questions about the course.
